Sharon Hummel-Kramer

Northwest native Sharon Hummel-Kramer, is a third generation classically trained certified Joseph Pilates instructor. Sharon completed her apprenticeship training in 2017. She has practiced Pilates for 20 years. Pilates became her next career after retiring from 40 years in health care. Sharon discovered Pilates when sent by her sports medicine physical therapist, who told her “ I can keep fixing you or, you can just do Pilates!” Her physical therapist was correct and Sharon was hooked.

Sharon loves sharing her excitement for Pilates with her clients and enjoys watching them discover the corrective benefits Pilates provides.

Sharon is also a passionate equestrian and a regional dressage competitor. She owns two horses named Capote and Saboteur.

Studio Valence Classical Pilates is a small, charming, well lit studio on beautiful Whidbey Island.
